Today seems to be a rather unfortunate curse, but I seem to be unaffected. At any rate, it's good to have employment again, especially since I will be staying here indefinitely and there is no such thing as infinite finances.

I've heard that there is no clear system of laws in this city... is that actually so?

Is anyone familiar with the workings of large-scale clockwork engines or clockwork in general?
